Market Garden

We successfully led this City of Newcastle project from grant application to final installation under our former company, Newcastle Parkour. This initiative transformed a barren CBD laneway into a dynamic, parkour-inspired urban play space. The project is a core showcase of our values:

  • Safe by Design: Creating a permanent, structured environment for safe movement and skill development.

  • Community-Centered: Revitalizing a neglected area into an inclusive hub for active, creative play.

  • Adventure and Exploration: Offering an open-ended environment that encourages curiosity and discovery.

Lion City Parkour Gym

Our team delivered consultancy for the Lion City Parkour gym build.

We provided strategic advice on maximising the small size of the 100sm space’s functional layout, backed by  3D designs and technical feedback to guide the  successful execution. A true example of translating vision into a safe, high-performance training environment.

Newcastle Parkour

Following our site inspection our team was responsible for the detailed design and executing the build for the Newcastle Parkour gym.

Key aspects included:

  • Turning Vision into Blueprints: Converting high-level designs into dimensionally accurate, ready-to-build plans.

  • Material Specification: Sourcing and specifying all materials to meet durability, safety, and performance requirements for a parkour facility.

  • Seamless Execution: Providing builders with an unambiguous roadmap for installation, ensuring the final product matched the original intent for a safe and dynamic training space.

National Parkour Gathering

Under our previous company, Newcastle Parkour, we successfully organised and executed the highly publicised Australian National Parkour Gathering (NAT GAT). This large-scale, multi-day event was the first of its kind to receive official council support in the region, helping to legitimize parkour as a valuable urban activity.

Our execution involved:

  • Logistics & Permits: Coordinating with the City of Newcastle to secure permissions and city access.

  • Curriculum: Designing a comprehensive program of workshops (including safety and injury prevention), classes, and social events.

  • Community Management: Hosting over 200 participants from across Australia and overseas for a full weekend of movement, skill development, and community building.

We transformed the entire city into a safe, temporary training environment, delivering a landmark event for the Australian parkour community.

National Instructor Training

National Instructor Training Initiative (2023–2025)

Our Director, Alex Rzechowicz, led a landmark national initiative to drastically elevate the quality and safety of parkour coaching across Australia.

Driven by a philosophy of using parkour to improve lives and reduce harm for young people, Alex personally delivered specialized training to over 150 instructors.

This comprehensive program reached every major community, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Newcastle, and Canberra.

The training spanned the full spectrum of expertise: from five-day intensives for new coaches to advanced professional development for senior head coaches, community leaders, and the Australian Parkour Association.

This initiative successfully established a new national standard for parkour education and safety.
